Abstract
This Web page on the New York State Unified Court System Web site presents information on the Brooklyn Treatment Court (BTC). The BTC is located in Brooklyn, NY, and offers substance abuse treatment as an alternative to incarceration for nonviolent felony and misdemeanor drug offenders. It is a court-monitored treatment program that aims to break the cycle of drug use, crime, and incarceration. The Web page includes information about the Court; a list of the Court's supportive services, PDFs of BTC's policies and procedures, the client handbook, and recent news articles on the BTC; photos on the work of the BTC; and information about the Veterans Treatment Court, developed through the work of the BTC. Supportive Services provided by the BTC include mental health services, library learning centers, moral reconation therapy, vocational and educational services, and a primary care clinic.
