Information and data are provided for the Arkansas Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP), which has the acronym name of AR PMP.
Abstract
The Arkansas Department of Health is the administering state agency for the PDMP, The website address is provided for each of the following tasks related to the PDMP's operation: enrollment, queries, data upload, and statistics. Contact information is provided for the AR PMP Administrator and the Branch Chief. Statistics for the state population, DEA registered prescribers, and DEA registered dispensers are reported for 2017. The titles of PDMP available reports are listed, followed by information on PDMP budget and staffing for 2018. Funding sources for the PDMP are listed, and the number of PDMP employees is reported for operational, technical, analytical, and "other" responsibilities. Key PDMP dates are reported for authorizing legislation, when it became operational, initial user access, online access, and electronic reporting.
