FROM THE EVIDENCE IN A CASE OF MURDER AND SUICIDE, IT IS CONCLUDED THAT THE POSSIBILITY OF SUICIDE CANNOT BE EXCLUDED JUST BECAUSE MORE THAN ONE ROPE IS USED AND MORE THAN ONE KNOT IS TIED.
Abstract
THE CASE INVOLVED THE MURDER OF HER CHILD BY THE MOTHER AND SUBSEQUENT SUICIDE OF THE MOTHER BY STRANGULATION WITH KNOTTED ROPES. EVEN THE FACT THAT A KNOT WAS TIED AT THE BACK OF HER NECK INSTEAD OF IN FRONT DID NOT PROVE THAT SHE HAD NOT TIED IT HERSELF. PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE EVIDENCE ARE PROVIDED. --IN GERMAN
