Abstract
THE 'MAINE SUPERIOR COURT CLERKS' MANUAL IS DESIGNED TO SERVE AS A REFERENCE FOR OFFICE PROCEDURES. THE MANUAL IS NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE ACTIVITIES IN WHICH A SUPERIOR COURT CLERK IS INVOLVED; HOWEVER, THE MAJOR AREAS OF CONCERN ARE DESCRIBED. THE MANUAL IS DIVIDED INTO FIVE MAJOR SECTIONS, GENERAL, CRIMINAL, CIVIL, ADMINISTRATION, AND GLOSSARY. EACH SECTION INCLUDES A NUMBER OF SUBSECTIONS WHICH CONTAIN A FLOW CHART, TABLE OF CONTENTS, LIST OF FORMS, DESCRIPTION OF PROCEDURES, AND SAMPLE FORMS. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
