Abstract
SIX GROUP LEADERS PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE INMATES AS INDIVIDUALS AND AS A GROUP. INMATES WORK IN THE LAUNDRY OF THE VEENHUIZEN INSTITUTION AND ARE COMPENSATED FOR THEIR WORK. A DESCRIPTION IS GIVEN OF THE INSTITUTIONAL STORE, THE DAILY SCHEDULE, RADIO AND TELEVISION FACILITIES, ARRANGEMENTS FOR VISITORS, RECREATION, ETC. IT IS EMPHASIZED THAT LIFE AT SUCH AN INSTITUTION IS NOT EASY, BUT THAT, INSTEAD, THERE IS REGIMENTATION AND THE INMATES MUST WORK HARD. PHOTOGRAPHS ARE INCLUDED SHOWING INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR SCENES AT 'DE FLEDDERWOORT'. --IN DUTCH
