Abstract
RECENT ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS OF NEW MEXICO CORRECTIONS, SUCH AS CENTRALIZATION OF CORRECTIONS AND INVESTIGATIONS OF ADMINISTRATIVE ABUSES ARE DESCRIBED. THE FACILITIES, STAFF, AND PROGRAMS OF ADULT CORRECTIONS ARE THEN DISCUSSED. SUCH PROGRAMS AS PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES, HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE-LEVEL EDUCATION PROGRAMS, AND PRISON INDUSTRIES ARE OUTLINED. THE PROGRAMS AND OPERATIONS OF NEW MEXICO JUVENILE CORRECTIONS AND PROBATION AND PAROLE SERVICES ARE OUTLINED AS WELL.
