A TEST WAS DEVELOPED FOR POLICE APPLICANTS IN WICHITA (KS) TO PREDICT SUCCESSFUL TRAINING AND PERFORMANCE IN COMPLIANCE WITH EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY AND AFFIRMATIVE ACTION LAWS.
Abstract
THE TEST MEASURES PERSONALITY PARAMETERS, ADJUSTMENT UNDER STRESS, VOCATIONAL INTERESTS, AS WELL AS THE STANDARD INTELLIGENCE, VOCABULARY, ORAL COMPREHENSION, AND CLERICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS. THE TEST WAS FOUND TO BE HIGHLY EFFICIENT IN PREDICTING APPLICANT SUCCESS.
