A STUDY TO DETERMINE THE MOST EFFECTIVE METHOD OF PROVIDING POLICE SERVICES WAS CONDUCTED FOR GREEN TOWNSHIP (OH), WHOSE ELEVEN POLICE SERVE 60,118 PERSONS OVER 30 SQUARE MILES, DATED MAY, 1976.
Abstract
THE STUDY FOUND THAT THE CURRENT POLICE STRENGTH WAS INADEQUATE. THIS STUDY RECOMMENDS EITHER CONTRACTING FOR ALL POLICE SERVICES FROM THE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT OR JOINING WITH A NEIGHBORING TOWNSHIP (CHEVIOT CITY) TO FORM A JOINT POLICE DISTRICT. A STRENGTH OF 70 PERSONNEL IS RECOMMENDED.
