A DESCRIPTION OF THE SECURITY OPERATIONS OF THE DALLAS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.
Abstract
ALL REPORTS OF DISRUPTIONS OR VIOLENCE ARE RELAYED THROUGH THE INFORMATION ACTION CENTER OF THE DIRECTOR'S OFFICE. SIXTY PERSONS ARE AVAILABLE DURING SCHOOL HOURS AS THE DISTRICT'S TASK FORCE. THE DIRECTOR OF SECURITY HAS DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH THE DALLAS POLICE, SHOULD THEIR ASSISTANCE BE REQUIRED. THREE DALLAS POLICE OFFICERS ARE ON DUTY AT THE INFORMATION ACTION CENTER. THE DISTRICT HAS FIVE SECURITY PATROL CARS. AN INVESTIGATOR HANDLES AND REPORTS ON VANDALISM AND THEFT INCIDENTS.
