THIS PAPER ADDRESSES ITSELF TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE EDUCATION DICHOTOMY REPRESENTED BY EXPERIENCE IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE VS. FORMAL EDUCATION.
Abstract
A SURVEY OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS WAS TAKEN AT ALL COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES, AND JUNIOR COLLEGES IN LEAA REGION VII WHICH INDICATED THAT EXPERIENCE IS A DESIREABLE, IF NOT NECESSARY REQUIREMENT FOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE INSTRUCTIONAL PERSONNEL, RESEARCHERS, AND ADMINISTRATORS. THE AUTHORS HOPE THAT AN AMALGAMATION OF EXPERIENCE AND ADVANCED DEGREES WILL TAKE PLACE FOR THE BETTERMENT OF ALL.
