THE PURPOSE OF THE TOTAL MONITORING SYSTEM IS TO PROVIDE A SYSTEM WHICH CAN BROADCAST LIVE TELEVISION PICTURES FROM A HOVERING HELICOPTER, FIXED CAMERA LOCATIONS, AND LIMITED GROUND MOBILE CONFIGURATIONS.
Abstract
THE SYSTEM IS INTENDED TO ALLOW METROPOLITAN POLICE OFFICIALS TO AUGMENT THEIR VIEWING AND CONTROLLING OF CIVIL DISTURBANCES IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. THIS REPORT DISCUSSES SYSTEM OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PRESENTS DETAILED EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS FOR PHASE ONE (STREET TO COMMAND CENTER TELEVISION SYSTEM).
