OUTLINE OF THE GENERAL FEATURES OF THE CODE OF ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES FOR THE CORRECTIONAL SYSTEM IN POLAND IN FORCE SINCE 1970.
Abstract
THE PROMULGATION OF THIS CODE RAISES CORRECTIONAL ADMINISTRATION TO THE SAME ORDER OF IMPORTANCE AS THE CRIMINAL CODE AND THE CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE IN THE POLISH PENAL LAW SYSTEM. THE SCOPE OF THE CODE INCLUDES THE DIVISION OF CONTROL OVER THE CONVICTED PERSON'S PROGRAM OF TREATMENT AND SANCTIONS AMONG JUDICIAL AND CORRECTIONAL AUTHORITIES. ALSO COVERED ARE THE RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF CONVICTED PERSONS, INSTITUTIONAL ORGANIZATION AND CONDITIONS, PROBATION AND PAROLE, POST-RELEASE PROGRAMS, AND DETENTION PENDING CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. --IN FRENCH
