Abstract
TRACE DISSECTS THE CASE HANDLING PROCESS INTO TEN STEPS, FROM THE ORIGINAL CASE REPORT BY THE OFFICER ON THE SCENE TO DISTRICT ATTORNEY INTERVIEWS TO IDENTIFY ANY POSSIBLE WEAK POINTS. THIS SYSTEM ALSO MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO CONCENTRATE ON MONITORING AREAS KNOWN TO BE MOST IN NEED OF IMPROVEMENT.
