Abstract
THE FILM SHOWS THE DAILY LIFE AND ROUTINE OF A LARGE COUNTY JAIL AND ILLUSTRATES THE METHODS AND PROGRAMS UTILIZED BY JAIL PERSONNEL TO PREPARE INMATES FOR A USEFUL LIFE ON THE OUTSIDE. IT ALSO SHOWS TYPICAL COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE INDUCEMENTS AND PRESSURES EXERTED BY HARDENED OFFENDER-INMATES.
