THIS REPORT ADDRESSES THE PROBLEM OF COURTROOM SECURITY IN FEDERAL COURTS AS PROVIDED BY U.S. MARSHALS, COMPENSATION TO THE MARSHALS SERVICE FOR SERVING PROCESS, AND THE HANDLING OF FEDERAL ARREST WARRANTS.
Abstract
THIS REPORT PROPOSES THAT A STUDY BE UNDERTAKEN TO ASSESS COURTROOM SECURITY NEEDS, THAT THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR SERVING PROCESS FOR CIVIL LITIGANTS BE REVISED UPWARDS, AND THAT MORE EFFICIENT MONITORING OF FEDERAL ARREST WARRANTS BE EFFECTED.
