Abstract
AUDIOVISUAL MATERIALS CAN ADD VARIETY TO ANY TRAINING PROGRAM, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, THEY MAKE POSSIBLE A WIDER RANGE OF EXPERIENCE AND INFORMATION THAN THE USUAL LECTURE PRESENTATION AFFORDS. THIS SECOND EDITION OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE AUDIOVISUAL MATERIALS DIRECTORY IS DESIGNED TO BE A RESOURCE GUIDE TO THOSE IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE FIELD SEEKING MATERIALS FOR EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND ORIENTATION. INTENDED AS A SOURCE DIRECTORY, AND NOT A CATALOGUE, IT IS DIVIDED INTO FIVE SECTIONS COVERING COURTS, POLICE TECHNIQUES AND TRAINING, PREVENTION, PRISONS AND REHABILITATION/CORRECTIONS, POLICE EDUCATION, AND PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION SOURCES. ALL AUDIOVISUAL MATERIALS LISTED ARE ALSO ANNOTATED. INFORMATION ON FILM LENGTH, YEAR, AND PURCHASE AND/OR RENTAL COST IS INCLUDED. AN ALPHABETICAL LIST OF MATERIAL SOURCES IS PROVIDED AT THE END OF THE DIRECTORY. (SNI ABSTRACT)
