SITUATIONS ARE ENACTED IN WHICH OFFICERS LOST THEIR GUNS OR HAD THEM STOLEN - PROCEDURES ARE DISCUSSED THAT WOULD MINIMIZE OR ELIMINATE THESE OCCURRENCES.
Abstract
CORRECT PROCEDURES THAT ARE EMPHASIZED INCLUDE CHECKING THE ACTIONS OF OCCUPANTS BEFORE ENTERING BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS; ALWAYS WEARING THE REVOLVER WHEN REQUIRED TO HAVE IT IN POSSESSION (NEVER PUTTING OR CARRYING IT IN A CONTAINER); NEVER LEAVING THE REVOLVER IN A VEHICLE; AND STORING THE REVOLVER IN A SECURE PLACE AT HOME.
