BRIEF DISCUSSION OF THE LOGIC OF EVALUATING PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS AS USED IN WEST GERMANY AND A DESCRIPTION OF THE METHODS USED TO EVALUATE SOCIAL THERAPY TO DISPOSE INMATES TOWARD COOPERATIVE BEHAVIOR.
Abstract
THE METHODS WERE TESTED USING HYPOTHETICAL CONFLICT SITUATIONS. A COMPARISON BETWEEN TWO GROUPS OF NEWLY ARRIVED AND OF SOON-TO-BE-DISMISSED INMATES SHOWED SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES IN READINESS FOR COOPERATION. PROBLEMS OF THE INTERPRETATION OF THESE RESULTS ARE DISCUSSED. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED) --IN GERMAN. SUMMARIES IN ENGLISH AND GERMAN.
