Abstract
THE SUBCOMMITTEE ON INTERNAL SECURITY HAS BEEN CONDUCTING A SERIES OF HEARINGS ON THE RECENT TREND TOWARD RESTRICTION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITIES. WITNESSES AT THIS HEARING INCLUDED EDWARD M. DAVIS, CHIEF OF THE LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT; J. PHILIP KRUSE, SPECIAL AGENT-IN-CHARGE OF THE CRIMINAL INTELLIGENCE DIVISION OF THE ILLINOIS BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION; AND JUSTIN DINTINO, COMMANDER OF THE INTELLIGENCE BUREAU OF THE NEW JERSEY STATE POLICE.
