REPORT, DATED FEBRUARY 1977, OF A TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROJECT TO BEGIN DEVELOPMENT OF A STATE COURT INFORMATION SYSTEM WHICH COULD BE IMPLEMENTED AT THIS TIME AND WHICH COULD EVENTUALLY BE COMPUTERIZED.
Abstract
THE INFORMATION NEEDS OF THE MAINE STATE COURTS WERE ASSESSED AND THE DESIGN OF A MANUAL SYSTEM TO RESPOND TO THESE NEEDS WAS FORMULATED. THIS REPORT DOCUMENTS THAT INVESTIGATIVE EFFORT AND INCLUDES RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DESIGN OF APPROPRIATE DATA COLLECTION FORMS AND REPORT FORMATS. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A CIVIL AND CRIMINAL CASE REPORTING SYSTEM ALSO ARE INCLUDED.
