SUMMARY OF A TRIBAL CODE REVISION EFFORT COMPLETED BY THE SPRING OF 1975 WHICH WAS CONDUCTED UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROJECT.
Abstract
THE FIRST PART OF THE REPORT DESCRIBES THE METHODOLOGY USED IN DEVELOPING THE CODE AND THE CURRENT STATUS OF THIS EFFORT AS WELL AS THE STEPS WHICH WILL BE TAKEN TO COMPLETE A FINAL VERSION. THE REMAINDER OF THE TEXT PRESENTS THE TRIBAL COUNCIL'S MID-MARCH MEETING CONVENED TO CONSIDER THE DRAFT CODE, AS WELL AS SUGGESTIONS FOR CERTAIN LONG-TERM CONSIDERATIONS THAT AFFECT THE CODE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION EFFORT.
