Abstract
THE COMMISSION CONSISTS OF 12 UNPAID COMMISSIONERS AND A PAID STAFF OF 20 EMPLOYEES. DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 1976, THE COMMISSION CONDUCTED 17 INVESTIGATIONS. THIS REPORT SUMMARIZES ACTIVITIES INCLUDING COMPLETED INVESTIGATIONS, PENDING INVESTIGATIONS, AND PERSONNEL AND EXPENDITURES. AMONG AREAS DISCUSSED ARE NURSING HOMES, THE KU KLUX KLAN, MEDICAL LICENSING IN ILLINOIS, AND DRUG ABUSE.
