AUDIO CASSETTE PRESENTATION CONTENDS THAT CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR CAN, IN MANY INSTANCES, BE TRACED TO DIET AND NUTRITION.
Abstract
THIS SPEECH IS BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE HUXLEY INSTITUTE FOR BIOSOCIAL RESEARCH, ABRAM HOFFER. IN IT HOFFER ATTEMPTS TO DEMONSTRATE THAT NORMAL AND ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR ARE OFTEN THE PRODUCT OF DIET AND EATING HABITS OVER THE YEARS. HE COMPARES THE HUMAN BODY TO THE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE OF A COMPUTER. THIS IS TO ILLUSTRATE THAT ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR CAN BE CAUSED BY A MALFUNCTIONING OF THE PHYSIOLOGY OF THE PERSON (HIS HARDWARE) OR CAUSED BY THE WAY THE PERSON HAS BEEN PROGRAMMED TO BEHAVE (HIS SOFTWARE). HOFFER TRACES SOME ABNORMALITIES TO ALLERGIES, AND TO SUGAR INTAKE....BS
