ARTICLE COMMENTS ON THE POTENTIAL EFFECTIVENESS OF AN ATTRIBUTE BASED CRIME REPORTING SYSTEM (ABCR).
Abstract
THE ABCR SYSTEM WOULD LINK INFORMATION FROM THE RANGE OF PROCESSES AND FUNCTIONS INSIDE THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM. THE ADVANTAGE OF THE ABCR SYSTEM, ACCORDING TO THE ARTICLE, IS THAT IT RESULTS IN A DATA BASE THAT CONTAINS ELEMENTAL INFORMATION ABOUT A CRIMINAL EVENT THAT CAN BE TAPED, MESSAGED, AND ANALYZED FOR ANY APPLICATION THAT THE USER DESIRES. IT WOULD REDUCE DIFFICULTIES BETWEEN AGENCIES AND STATES. FLOW CHARTS INDICATE HOW THE SYSTEM WOULD BE ESTABLISHED.....BS
