IN ORDER TO PROMOTE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THIS CONTROVERSIAL FORM OF SEXUAL BEHAVIOR, THIS PRESENTATION DEFINES THE ISSUES SURROUNDING RAPE, AND EXPLORES FACTS, ATTITUDES, AND THEORIES RELEVANT TO THE CRIMINAL ACT.
Abstract
ISSUES ARE SHOWN DRAMATICALLY WHILE THE FACTS AND IMPLICATIONS ARE DISCUSSED BOTH BY EXPERTS AND BY THOSE DIRECTLY INVOLVED. PERSONAL POINTS OF VIEW OF WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO RAPIST DEMANDS AND THE RAPISTS THEMSELVES ARE DESCRIBED THROUGH INTERVIEWS. THE THEME OF THIS PRODUCTION IS THAT FEAR OF RAPE IS BOTH REALISTIC AND WARRANTED. AMONG FACTS ABOUT RAPE THAT ARE POINTED OUT, IT IS IMPRESSED ON THE VIEWER THAT THE MAJORITY OF THESE CRIMES ARE CAREFULLY PLANNED, OCCUR IN HOMES OF THE VICTIMS, INVOLVE PRIOR ACQUAINTANCES, AND ARE COMMITTED BY MORE THAN ONE RAPIST....KAP
