Abstract
THE DOCUMENT DESCRIBES THE GENERAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR RUNNING THE PROGRAM, HOW TO INPUT INFORMATION TO THE MODEL, AND HOW TO INTERPRET THE OUTPUT. THE MODEL, WHICH WAS DEVELOPED FOR THE NATIONAL BUREAU OF STANDARDS, ACCEPTS INPUT ABOUT PERSONAL DATA SYSTEMS, UTILIZES ALGORITHMS TO PROVIDE INCREMENTAL RESOURCES REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE PRIVACY ACT OF 1974, AND APPLIES COST FACTORS TO THE RESOURCES TO PROVIDE A COST ESTIMATE. COST ESTIMATES OF ALTERNATIVE COMPLIANCE TECHNIQUES CAN BE GENERATED. THESE CAN LATER BE COMPARED BY THE USER TO DETERMINE A COST EFFECTIVE METHOD OF COMPLIANCE. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)...KAP
