Abstract
THE PROBLEMS EXISTING IN THE MISDEMEANOR JUSTICE SYSTEM ARE SEEN AS CASELOAD DELAYS, INCOMPETENT COUNSEL, PROCESSING INEFFICIENCY, THE GREAT BURDEN ON THE COURT PARTICIPANTS, DISREGARD OF DUE PROCESS, AND ATTITUDINAL DEFICIENCIES. SOME REMEDIES ARE PROPOSED FOR THESE PROBLEMS....MSP
