Abstract
FINDINGS SHOW THAT 61 PERCENT OF THE INMATES STATED THEY HAD USED DRUGS SUCH AS HEROIN, METHADONE, COCAINE, MARIJUANA, AMPHETAMINES, OR BARBITURATES ILLICITLY. THE RESULTS ARE BROKEN DOWN BY SERIOUSNESS AND TYPE OF OFFENSE COMMITTED, FREQUENCY OF PRIOR DRUG USE, TYPE AND AMOUNT OF DRUG CONSUMPTION, AND WHETHER THE OFFENSE WAS COMMITTED UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS. MANY STATISTICAL TABLES ARE INCLUDED AS WELL AS AN EXTENSIVE NARRATIVE ANALYSIS....MSP
