THIS ARTICLE EXPLAINS THE SAVINGS AND EFFICIENCY OF AN ADEQUATE ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM.
Abstract
THE INSTALLATION OF CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION, THE AUTHOR POINTED OUT, ENABLED CONTROL OVER SIX INDIVIDUAL ENTRANCES FROM A SINGLE POINT WITH A SINGLE SECURITY OFFICER. THE EQUIPMENT COULD REPLACE 14 GUARDS, AND PROJECTED ANNUAL SAVINGS WERE ESTIMATED TO BE IN EXCESS OF $200,000. THE SYSTEM THE AUTHOR FOUND TO BE THE BEST WAS OF THE 'MAN TRAP' VARIETY. BUT THE FULL CAPABILITIES OF ELECTRONIC SECURITY EQUIPMENT MUST BE UNDERSTOOD TO GET THE MOST OUT OF IT....BDS
