PERFORMANCE OF OFFICERS AND CLERKS IS EVALUATED AT EACH STAGE OF CASE PROCESSING, FROM TAKING THE CASE REPORT, SUBMITTING FOLLOW-UP REPORTS, AND HANDLING RECORDS AND EVIDENCE, TO HOUSING OF THE OFFENDER IN JAIL AND PROSECUTION OF THE CASE. A MORE LIMITED REVIEW OF ANY ONE OF THESE STAGES CAN ALSO BE UNDERTAKEN. VICTIM FOLLOW-UP INTERVIEWS MAY BE USED TO GAIN SIGNIFICANT INFORMATION ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CASE HANDLING....DMC
