THIS PAPER DISCUSSES EVALUATION CONSIDERATIONS FOR AN INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PROGRAM AIDING PRISON RELEASEES.
Abstract
TWO MAJOR AREAS ARE ADDRESSED: OUTCOMES OF PROGRAM CLIENTS, IN TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND RECIDIVISM; AND SPECIFIC SERVICES OFFERED BY THE PROGRAMS SUCH AS COUNSELING, JOB READINESS TRAINING, AND JOB PLACEMENT. SUGGESTED EVALUATION ACTIVITIES ARE DESCRIBED AT SEVERAL LEVELS OF COMPLEXITY, SO THAT A PROGRAM CAN SELECT THE TYPE OF ANALYSIS BEST SUITED TO ITS NEEDS AND RESOURCES. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)...MSP
