FIFTEEN ISRAELI INMATES OVER FIFTY YEARS OF AGE WERE INTERVIEWED BY THE AUTHORS TO DETERMINE THE WAYS IN WHICH THEY ADAPT TO PRISON LIFE OR THE WAYS IN WHICH THE PRISON SCHEDULE IS ADAPTED TO THEM.
Abstract
THE AUTHORS FOUND THAT MOST OF THE PRISONERS WERE WELL ADAPTED TO PRISON LIFE, AND THAT INFORMAL EFFORTS WERE MADE TO HELP THOSE WHOSE INTERNAL RESOURCES WERE NOT SUFFICIENTLY STRONG TO ENABLE THEM TO FUNCTION WITHIN THE PRISON....EB
