Abstract
TWELVE VOLUNTEER MALE INMATES OF THE FRESNO COUNTY (CA) MODEL TREATMENT PROGRAM FOR CRIMINAL OFFENDERS SERVED AS SUBJECTS. ALL SUBJECTS DROPPED OUT OF THE BIOFEEDBACK PROGRAM DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF TRAINING. TWO ESCAPED AND ONE WAS TRANSFERRED. RESULTS ARE LIMITED TO THE BASE LINE DATA ANALYSIS WHICH INCLUDED AN INTERCORRELATION MATRIX COMPUTED FOR LINEAR AND LOG TRANSFORMS. THE AUTHORS FEEL THAT MUCH VALUABLE INFORMATION CONCERNING EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN, INSTRUMENTATION, EEG DATA ANALYSIS AND SHORT-TERM RESPONSE TO NARROW-BAND VERSUS WIDE-BAND FEEDBACK, PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING, AND THE SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY OF THE BIOFEEDBACK SETTING WAS GAINED FROM THE UNCOMPLETED EXPERIMENT.(AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)...EB
