SEVERAL AREAS ARE STUDIED: WHAT CONSTITUTES A CRITICAL SITUATION, WHY ARE CONTINGENCY PLANS NECESSARY, WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONTINGENCY PLANS, WHAT KINDS OF ISSUES NEED TO BE RAISED IN DEVELOPING CONTINGENCY PLANS, AND WHAT MUST BE DONE TO ENSURE THAT THE CONTINGENCY PLANS ARE OPERABLE?
