THE CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE HAS DEVELOPED AN INTERACTION TRAINING MODEL ON JUVENILE JUSTICE DESIGNED TO CREATE POSITIVE ATTITUDES AND UNDERSTANDING IN YOUTH WITH REGARD TO THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM.
Abstract
THIS REPORT BRIEFLY OUTLINES THE OBJECTIVE FORMAT, AND MATERIALS FOR THE TRAINING PROGRAM. IN THIS MODEL, YOUTHS, JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM WORKERS, AND PROVIDERS OF JUVENILE JUSTICE SERVICES MEET IN SMALL CONFERENCES. RECOMMENDATIONS ON SETTING UP THE CONFERENCES ARE PROVIDED, AND THE PERSONNEL REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT THE MODEL ARE DISCUSSED....DMC
