Abstract
THE MANUAL IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS. PART ONE PROVIDES BASIC INFORMATION ON THE ORGANIZATION OF BUSINESS SECURITY, ON BOMB THREATS, KIDNAPPING, AND BLACKMAIL, AND WHO IN PARTICULAR IS THREATENED. ALSO DISCUSSED ARE THE POTENTIAL EFFECTS OF THE LOSSES THAT ARE SUSTAINED IN A GIVEN ATTACK OR THREAT. PART TWO DELINEATES THE ACTUAL PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AND DESCRIBES THE TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF BOMBINGS, KIDNAPPINGS, BLACKMAIL AND 'PSYCHOTERROR.' AN APPENDIX INCLUDES INFORMATION ON EXPLOSIONS, EXPLOSIVES, INCENDIARY DEVICES, AND BOMBS, AND A BACKGROUND ON BOMBINGS, KIDNAPPINGS, AND BLACKMAIL. REFERENCES ARE PROVIDED.
