Abstract
AFTER A BRIEF SYNOPSIS OF FEDERAL STATUTES, A DISCUSSION OF THE GENERAL WAGERING PROCESS ALONG WITH A CONSIDERATION OF THE SPECIFIC PURPOSES OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT RAID ON A GAMBLING OPERATION IS PRESENTED. SPORT WAGERING OPERATIONS ARE CONSIDERED WITH REFERENCES TO EACH SPORT INVOLVED. NUMBERS WAGERING AND HORSE RACE WAGERING ARE ALSO ADDRESSED.
