Abstract
THE DESCRIPTIONS SHOW HOW ARCHITECTS CAN DESIGN MODERN, ATTRACTIVE, SPACIOUS, AND FUNCTIONAL BUILDINGS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT. THE STRUCTURES WERE ALL BUILT WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT NEEDS IN MIND--SECURITY, SEPARATION OF POLICE AND PUBLIC PERSONNEL, ACCOMODATIONS OF VARIOUS DIVISIONS WITHIN A POLICE AGENCY, SURVEILLANCE, ETC. INFORMATION IS GIVEN ON THE COST, FLOOR SPACE, SECURITY FEATURES, SPECIAL FEATURES, OGRANIZATION, EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR DESIGN AND MATERIALS, AND FURNITURE OF EACH OF THE BUILDINGS AND FLOOR PLANS OF THE WILTON POLICE STATION ARE PROVIDED.
