Abstract
THE TEACHER'S EDITION INTERSPERSES THE TEXT OF THE STUDENT COURSEBOOK WITH SPECIFIC SUGGESTIONS FOR TEACHERS, GUIDES TO PRESENTING FIELD AND CLASSROOM EXERCISES, APPROPRIATE RESPONSES TO EACH DISCUSSION QUESTION, AND MULTIPLE CHOICE TESTS TO BE GIVEN AFTER EACH ACTIVITY IS COMPLETED. THE COURSES ARE PART OF A LAW EDUCATION PROGRAM DEVELOPED BY THE LAW EDUCATION GOALS AND LEARNING (LEGAL) PROJECT OPERATED BY THE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD. THE PROJECT GOAL IS TO DEVELOP STUDENT UNDERSTANDING AND SKILLS RELATED TO THE U.S. CRIMINAL AND CIVIL (CONSUMER) JUSTICE SYSTEMS. THE SOURCEBOOK PRESENTS AN OVERVIEW AND STUDY QUESTIONS, AND IT OUTLINES LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER EACH TRIP. ALTERNATIVE CLASSROOM EXERCISES INCLUDE SIMULATION GAMES AND DISCUSSIONS.
