DETAILS ARE GIVEN FOR ALL PHASES OF SETTING UP SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS CARNIVALS, DANCES, RAFFLES, THEATER BENEFITS, AND ATHLETIC FUNDRAISERS WHICH ATTRACT COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND WHICH SERVE TO DRAW THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER. ADVICE IS OFFERED ON ALL PHASES OF LOCAL CANVASSING OF INDIVIDUALS AND ON MEMBERSHIP DRIVES AIMED AT INDIVIDUALS. THE PROCESS OF PUBLISHING AN AD BOOK, FOR WHICH LOCAL BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS MAY BE SOLICITED, IS DESCRIBED. ILLUSTRATIONS AND A RESOURCE LIST ARE INCLUDED.
