BACKGROUND MATERIALS FOR TWO CORRECTIONAL HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATORS' WORKSHOPS ARE COLLECTED IN THIS VOLUME.
Abstract
THE MATERIALS INCLUDE WORKSHOP SCHEDULES, A PARTICIPANT'S GUIDE, AND MANUALS FOCUSING ON THE FOLLOWING SUBJECT AREAS: (1) KNOWLEDGE UTILIZATION; (2) REFERENCE MATERIALS ON STRESS THEORY AND RESEARCH, INCLUDING A STEP-BY-STEP INSERVICE PROGRAM MODEL FOR CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS; (3) THE DECISIONMAKING PROCESS; (4) A LONG-TERM TRAINING PROGRAM FOR CORRECTIONAL WORKERS; (5) NEW TRENDS IN CORRECTIONAL HEALTH CARE DELIVERY; (6) STEPS TO ACHIEVING QUALITY MEDICAL RECORDS IN PRISONS; AND (7) THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS.
