Abstract
Individual sections focus on summary information on reporting to the system, the classification and scoring of crimes and the daily submission of fingerprints of persons arrested. The preparation of Return 'A,' Part I Offenses are defined and their reporting procedures outlined. The Supplementary report of offenses and the Supplementary Homicide Report are also described. A delineation of procedures for monthly reports of persons arrested, annual reports; and a list of Uniform Crime Reporting Identifiers follows. A final section contains a training syllabus with general rules and exceptions, and subsections of programed instruction on classifying and scoring crimes. Sample reporting forms and tally sheets are provided.
