Riot helmet requirements and tests cover peripheral vision, impact attenuation, penetration resistance, retention system, construction, and labeling. Face shield requirements and tests encompass light transmission, prismatic power, refractive power, resolving power, impact protection, and the fastening system. Diagrams, figures, and six references are provided.
