Both techniques of sampling and the application of the Central Limit Theorem are introduced. The major topics considered are definitions of population and sample, distribution of data in a population, and normally distributed population. Sample averages are covered, as are histograms, the Central Limit Theorem, nonnormal populations, and the Central Limit Theorem applied to sums. The frame number on which each topic begins is provided. In addition, a worksheet has been included with the program to give students more experience with the types of problems discussed. The worksheet may be duplicated for use along with the program; answers to the problems are included in the teacher's guide. Instructions for presentation and a script are also included.
