Annotation
This annotated bibliography provides a guide to literature about planning in general and judicial planning in particular.
Abstract
The bibilography is intended for use by those with judicial planning responsibilities. The bibliography is divided into two broad categories: planning process literature and planning substance literature. Planning process literature shows how the planning process is organized in different environments. Topics covered include planning concepts, approaches, and experiences in judicial and nonjudicial environments, as well as the tasks of planning. Planning substance literature focuses on court organization, court personnel, court management, sentencing, courts and technology, and courthouse architecture. Documents cited include books, journal articles, procedure manuals, and bibliographies, most published between 1975 and 1979. The bibliography is arranged in annotated outline form and includes citation information necessary for retrieval in a library or for ordering from the source. The publication's final section lists works which claim to provide bibliographical references for all aspects of judicial administration.
