Two tables, one for cities and one for county and state law enforcement agencies, summarize the known offenses of murder and non-negligent manslaughter, negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery, felonious assault, burglary, stealing, and motor vehicle theft. Cities or counties are listed alphabetically, and their populations are given. Two other tables summarize arrests made by city police and by county sheriffs and other state law enforcement agencies for narcotics, prostitution, gambling, driving while intoxicated, and fatal and non-fatal assaults on officers.
