The film, narrated by television and film actor Peter Graves, features interviews with experts (educators, law enforcement people, and district attorneys), actual victims who are now teenagers, and child molesters themselves. Dr. Frank Osanka of Lewis University, Romeoville, Ill., discusses some characteristics of child molesters and some reasons for their actions, including feelings of social inadequacy. The film also explores the feelings of victims of sexual abuse, including guilt and anger, and delineates some of the ways in which child molesters control their victims. Other subjects covered by the film are the existence of child abuse hotlines in several States, the need for increased public awareness, and the importance of parents' knowing about their childrens' activities.
