Abstract
Designed as a curriculum resource guide for junior and senior high school students, this booklet includes the following information: (1) reasons for serving on a jury, (2) steps involved in becoming a juror, (3) criteria for being qualified to serve as a juror, (4) responsibilities of a juror, (5) court procedures and the role of lawyers and other court personnel in a criminal and a civil trial; and (6) compensation for being a juror.
