The resource book provides information on the following topic: introductory information such as project goals, rationale for school involvement, and a list of particpants); legal responsibilities (including an outline of the Wisconsin Abused Child Law); task definition and organization of community teams; Parents Anonymous, a national organization with local chapters to provide supportive help to parents; formats for workshops and inservice sessions; key regional, State, and national resource people and agencies; and listings of audiovisual materials and approximately 40 publications on child abuse and neglect. Also discussed are the policies of participating school districts. Sample referral forms, brief descriptions of reporting procedures, and the texts of Federal and State legislation regarding child abuse and neglect are appended. (ERIC abstract modified)
