Designed for the individual California police officer in a police education course, the filmstrip and accompanying audio cassette and workbook cover part one of a lesson on California criminal law regarding theft.
Abstract
The lesson teaches the officer to identify five theft crimes defined in Penal Code (PC) 484, to describe the legal concept of asportation as it applies to the elements of theft, to define the word feloniously as it applies to PC 484 and its implication for theft enforcement, to identify the basic elements of the corpus delicti for theft, and to identify two types of trick and device asportations described in the lesson. The cassette instructs the officer when to use the workbook and how to check the answers. The workbook includes a posttest and instructor's answer key. For part two, see NCJRS 75373.
